Long session in Japanese Map
Oggi, con la graditissima compagnia dei due atleti dellIKP di Prato Massimo Bianchi e Gianluca Salvioni, ho corso un durissimo lungo lento nella cartina delle Pizzorne, poco sopra Lucca. Per chi avesse visto le cartine delle gare corse ai Mondiali in Giappone 2 anni fa (con il grande 6° posto…

del nostro campione primierotto Tavernaro...), faccio notare la somiglianza con la cartina utilizzata oggi, già teatro di alcune importanti manifestazioni orientistiche del passato: bosco povero di dettagli (eccetto le carbonaie), zone verdi, molti sentieri e soprattutto un forte dislivello che contraddistingue tutta la zona! Allenamento decisamente collinare (penso non esista il termine allenamento montagnoso...), che alla fine ha fatto segnare sul Polar 735 m di dislivello, da aggiungersi ai circa 18,5 km, corso in 126, tenendo costantemente il segno sulla carta da orienteering. Veramente estiva latmosfera delle Pizzorne, con una temperatura media attorno ai 16°C a quota 1000m!!!
