Map Awards

We will soon be assessing maps first used in 2006 for awards. The principal awards are the Chichester Trophy for the best map by an amateur, the Silva Trophy for the best professional map and the Bonnington Trophy for services to orienteering mapping. There are also awards for cartographic excellence…

and for first maps and maps of small areas. Please submit three copies of any map that you wish to be considered to Amy Sarkies at the British Orienteering National Office. They should be part of the print run used for the event and can include course overprints. Include a covering statement giving in particular the base material used.
