David Thomas
Dave passed away on Wednesday 22nd November 2006 after a prolonged illness. Our thoughts and sympathy go to Anne, his wife, and to his four children Roger, Mary, Susan and Paul. around the globe. When my family returned from Scotland to the South East in 1970 we rejoined the club and got to know the whole Thomas family well. In those earlier days my two, Pete & Jenny used to play 'camps' with Paul whilst the rest of the families competed at events. I first met Dave through the Imperial College, London, cross-country running club. Dave had graduated from University College, London. I believe that before UC he had done his National Service.
