Orienteering's approach to safeguard children and young people in line with the 'Standards for Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport' CPSU 2003 (copies available on the CPSU website). We are seeking people who have skills, knowledge and experience in the following areas to join the group: - People working in a welfare capacity at club/county/regional level - Event officials - Coaching - World Class Programme - Education/training programme - Parents - Child welfare experiences as an advisor/practitioner outside of British Orienteering - Young people (who will be supported appropriate) The group will communicate regularly using email and only hold meetings…
