British Orienteering Corporate Guidelines
In June 2006 British Orienteering launched their new logo and decided to remove the word Federation. This has caused some confusion within clubs. or indeed BO has no meaning with regards to orienteering to anyone external to the sport. If we are going to raise awareness of our sport then we must start to use the word orienteering wherever possible. It is requested that in any club communications you refer to the governing body as “British Orienteering”. For further information please read the attached Corporate Guidelines.
