Courses were testing in the steep forest, and required good contouring skills, and the ability to judge when it was best to drop or climb to a track to attack the controls. Duncan Coombs was 2nd starter in the Men's 20 class, he showed he was on good form catching Jan Benes of Czech (JWOC Middle Champion) for 2 mins by control 11.
