Clermont running with a speed no better than 7/km, it was nice to feel like running fast again, under 5/km even at night on a rather easy terrain.For more than 20 years, we have been missing a night championship in the French competition schedule. It was therefore an historic moment for us and I took this race quite seriously, with five night training sessions during the previous week.
