in 1997 for the JWOC Classic Distance. Simone Luder (no Niggli at that time J) won her first world title at this occasion. Johan Modig won the Mens. While Thierry Georgiou wasn?t so succesfull that day? you can see why on his website : This year all the top 15 runners from the Flemish region are starting.
