Last weekend saw the Inaugural European Championships held in the National Park forests to the east of Warsaw, Poland. The Great Britain riders returned with some impressive results in a number of the classes, the highlight being Heather Monro's two podium finishes in the Ultra Long and Middle distance races.…

Great Britain sent a championship team of 10 riders - 6 men and 4 women. The event also included Open and Masters Competition, Youth and Junior Championships. Chris Brand-Barker competed in the M17 class, James Heading in the M14 and 7 GB men in the M40's. The terrain for all the races was a large block of national park forest to the east of the city.
