home without medals in the mens class in this years Norwegian Champs relay - Bækkelaget partly due to significant losses at the first leg. In the womens class, Anne Margrethe Hausken had a safe lead when starting on the last leg due to an excellent run by junior Betty Ann Bjerkreim Nilsen - a lead which Hausken managed to keep all the way to the finish although NTNUIs Birte Riddervold did a very good job on her last leg - reducing the gap to Hausken with nearly three minutes. Riddervold even managed to increase the half minute gap to Nydalens…
