medal of the week, and Matthieu Barthelemy brought France back on track by winning a bronze medal today. In the women's class, the reigning long distance world champion Christine Schaffner (SUI) was impossible to beat even today. Silver medallist Sonja Zinkl, Austria, lost almost two minutes to the winner. Sprint world champion Hana Bajtosova from Slovakia finished third.
