World MTB Orienteering Championships: leading sprint results
Last year's sprint world champion Hana Bajtosova (SVK) took a convincing victory in this year's sprint race with a winning margin of 23 seconds before the middle distance winner Marika Hara from Finland. Michaela Gigon from (AUT) finished third, and has now gold, silver and bronze medals from these competitions.…

In the men's class, Adrian Jackson, AUS, made far less mistakes than on the middle distance and won the race 11 seconds before Lasse Brun Pedersen from Denmark. Reigning long distance world champion Ruslan Gritsan, Russia, got bronze.
