was more fun than yesterday, because I had the start list with me, and I could see who was doing well according to the split times. The womens results were more or less as expected, with riders from the "red group" (the top 10 in the world rankings, who started last) in the top places, but with the men the effect of starting late (after noon) in this heat was evident (all the red group were coloured red when they finished), and the winner was an early starter, Torbjorn Gasbjerg of Denmark (pictured below).
