Around the world

The quick trip to World games in Taiwan gave a lot but was quite demanding for ones body. The long flights, jetlag and the terrible and lovely heat made running really hard. We spent the two first days on the island of Lantau in Hongkong making some small running sessions…

and visited also Hongkong city. There was a possibility to orienteer too but I rather stayed on the paths and roads instead of struggling in the jungle with boas. The World Games in Taiwan offered fast sprints as there wasnt really any woods to run in and also the maps were made in sprint format. The first competition went better than I expected. My body was working well and I only made a couple of small mistakesThe next day, however, was totally different. I was so exchausted already in the beginning that even the somewhat easy course gave me troubles.…
