run a half marathon. The Fontana Days Run was organized for the 54th time and is the venue where 1hour was first broken in the distance back in the 1980s. I had winded down my mileage, running only once a day for a week leading up to the race and my legs felt fresh in the crisp morning. Me and Benny toed the line in Fontana with 800 other runners but gaped the field instantly, clocking off faster miles than anticipated right from the start.
