After the first of May (the labours day) it was time to leave the clown masks and balloons and head for the first long distance event, Finnspring. The competition was, again, so far away that we had to rent a cottage nearby. We found a nice place near Lauhanvuori national…

park which was a really nice place to make a longer jogging session. In the morning, we still had some extra time before the competition, so we decided to make some more touring and visited this wolf cave on the way. In the afternoon, it was time to solve the 10 kilometers in a detailed terrain which was rather tuff to run. Surprise, surprise my orienteering hasnt really improved after last weekend. I really have to find good terrains for training as my legs seem to go so much faster than my thoughts. Splits and analyses may give you some…
