Assim se pode classificar a prestação portuguesa na manhã de hoje, no decurso da final de Distância Longa do Campeonato do Mundo de Orientação de Desporto Escolar ISF 2009. Prejudicada pelas adversas condições atmosféricas, a prova decorreu no mapa de Monte El Viso (Alcalá de Henares, Madrid), em terrenos de invulgar beleza e particularmente exigentes tanto física como tecnicamente.Sérgio Duarte (ES Maximinos) foi o primeiro atleta português a atacar o seu percurso, pouco passava das 9h30 locais (10h30 em Portugal).
