Yesterday was my first world champs final. I came 28th, which im fairly pleased with. The long has never been my favourite distance and I know I can do better in the middle. The race was definately long but I did really enjoy it. The map is here. The long…

leg was interesting, I went mainly straight although the route round to the north was equally as good. Towards the end of the course I made some mistakes due to being too tired. I think this is probably the longest orienteering race ive ever done so not too surprising. Now im looking forward to the middle race tomorrow...
