the map of Guardamar Norte, which is as near to an orienteers paradise as Ive ever seen - soft sand dunes covered in pine forest, technically challenging, right next to the accommodation and the beach. It was good training, but also a time to recover from a tough day of travelling. Much of Spain, especially the vegetation, is very similar to Israel, which was to be expected due to the Mediterranean climate, and it feels a bit like home at times - until you go into the orienteering terrain, which is much more interesting.Today well be doing more physical orienteering,…
