If you can have some kind of remote working situation or flexible working hours it helps. Your job shouldnt involve much travel. There must be a shower at your workplace and preferably a place to store lots of clothes and towels.. there are ways to get round the fact that they smell..Even with these tips, and there are many more.. working 100 % is far from ideal and I dont think its possible to achieve your full potential in orienteering if you always work 100 % and use only the standard holiday allowance for competitions and training camps.
