was just as active, but warmer and without mountains. I spent time surfing at Famara beach (above) before heading to the sports complex Club la Santa for some warm weather training.The warm weather went down well but hard training was thin on the ground due to lingering health problems. To make the most of the trip I did some easier running and a decent amount of alternative training including road biking through the islands volcanoes, coaching to improve my swimming, pilates and racket sports.
