1st fifteen will go through to the final. Well prepared, excited and like coiled springs our six runners went into the forest. Rachel Elder making her WOC debut was one of the 1st starters in the race and fought her way through the head high bracken at the beginning. This was a bit of a surprise as most of the forests have had little bracken and other seasonal vegetation but she kept her head, stuck to the task and scrapped through to the final on Friday. Next out of the forest Matt Crane came in with the 2nd fastest time…
