2008 big life changes, 2009 ?

Many things have happened since this time last year. Alastair & I left our little flat in the West End of Glasgow and boxed up our lives. We moved around the UK living rent & responsibility free while I wrote up my PhD thesis and improved my sandwich making skills…

by working in a deli. After Christmas we loaded up the Impreza and travelled non stop for 50 hours from Inverness to Newcastle to Haugesund and over sheet ice roads & many long tunnels through the night to Oslo and onwards up to Trondheim.Life in Trondheim has been a massive transition. The sandwich making skills have come in handy since Norwegians live mainly on a diet of bread and pålegg (stuff you can put on bread). I have learnt to cross country ski and run on ice and snow (..still rubbish at both). On moving to Trondheim we joined Wing…
