Hoje foi um dia histórico para Portugal no 3º Campeonato Europeu de Ori-BTT que, desde a passada segunda-feira, decorre na Lituânia. Ao classificar-se em 7º lugar na prova de Distância Longa, João Ferreira mostrou o seu valor e raça, dando-nos a todos uma enorme alegria. Está o João de parabéns…

e está igualmente a Ori-BTT portuguesa!É um feito verdadeiramente notável na Orientação em BTT portuguesa, o 7º lugar de João Ferreira na prova de Distância Longa que hoje teve lugar na pequena vila de Juodkranté, na costa leste da península de Nida (Lituânia). Depois de uma prova de Sprint menos conseguida, João Ferreira tinha apenas a prova de Distância Longa para tentar remediar as coisas. E conseguiu-o plenamente.
