gold medals, 5 WOC silver medals and 24 individual World Cup victories is quite unbeatable. Strong runners behind Simone The swiss women team is much more than Simone Niggli. Just behind Simone on the World Ranking, placed 2nd, is Vroni König-Salmi, who fights for her first individual WOC gold medal since the sprint in Tampere in 2001. The last swiss women within Top-10 on the World Ranking is Martina Fritschy - who managed a second place at the sprint distance in the World Cup Final in Italy last autumn.
