Ready for competition
Im off tomorrow to Slovenia, for the Cerkno Cup. This is my third trip to Slovenia, after the Lipica Open in 2003 and the Orienteering Online Cup in 2004 (before it became too big). From experience, the terrain there is fantastic, easily good enough for World Championships, and great fun.…

Were going for a 3-day training camp before the event, and then 3 days of competition, and the latest count is 17 Israelis at the event - almost a record for participation in a competition abroad, not counting organised groups of juniors.My training since I decided to travel (8 weeks ago) went exactly according to plan, and I feel fit and ready, even though my running speed is 4-5% slower than last season. Maybe age has something to do with it. There arent many competitors in my category (M35), and Im hoping for a podium place, but I dont know…
