Zealand team and the day ended with a mixture of excitement and disappointment. The qualification races are competed in three heats with the top twenty competitors heading to the âAâ final. The middle distance discipline is the most technical with an emphasis on detailed navigation. Constant concentration is needed with contunial changes in direction and varying speed over the terrain. Middle distance orienteering is the ultimate for technical enthusiasts! Todayâs race featured all these exciting components, cumulating in a rugged, steep downhill finish located at the Högsbo shooting range.
