a 4 km do Centro do Evento, a Prova de Sprint desenrolou-se em terrenos mistos de zona rural, parque e floresta, constituindo um verdadeiro desafio aos atletas mais rápidos e colocando à prova as suas capacidades atléticas. Com apenas 16 anos de idade, Emma Klingenberg surpreendeu tudo e todos ao arrebatar o título mundial de 2008.
