Tough WC Long distance with chasing start
Saturdays World Cup with chasing start held in connection with O-festivalen from Siggerud south of Oslo was a really tough race. The Long distance was almost 16 km and the winning time more than 100 minutes. I started as 21st runner, 3 minutes behind Anders Nordberg who won the Middle…

distance. In the beginning I ran quite well, and was alone on the two first butterfly-lopes. After the butterfly I came to the 18th control before the 17th, and lost around 2 minutes. I came than together with some other runners, and ran most of the rest of the course together with from 2 to 7 other runners. On the last part of the course I was really tired, and when I did a small mistake to the 33rd control I lost contact with the first runners in my group and the possibility to fight for the 13th place.
