The EOC in Ventspils in Latvia offered a lot of challenges, tight competition and quick curves...sometimes there were too many curves on the way to the controls as well. As we arrived to Latvia, my body wasnt exactly prepared for any competitions. Big amounts of training during the last weeks…

forced me to take care of my muscles first and I knew it wouldnt really be possible to take the gold in the sprint. But I became fourth anyway, and could have avoided at least one mistake if the controls had been in the middle of the circles... After the fourth place, I also decided that if I wanted to take the gold in the middle distance I shouldnt run the long. It was a hard decision to take but really wice as I hadnt run any long distances this year and I knew my knee would not like it…
