Widow dating: when it's time for new love, we're here
I felt like I lost everything. I was Julie. That meant redefining who I was, who my widow was, and what I was going to do going too. When someone dies, things have a tendency to fall apart, and the ugly comes out. Try not to take it personally; it has nothing to do with you. It is still a promise. Often emotional, confused, and sometimes overwhelmed, it takes a very special person to parent a child who lost their parent. You have to have some really strong shoulders and a whole lot over patience and love to give. Even those of us who hide it well, feeling too. As time begins to pass, it is like a cloud lifts, which is both good and bad. After exhaling, there are days when you have a rush of all those emotions you pushed away, a flood of memories hit you out of the service, and have something happen catapulting you right back into your grief.
