but it took the energy out of me too. I started the 5000m race in today’s baking 39 Celsius degrees with the task to keep the pace slow. I was watching teammates David McNeill and Ben Ashkettle secure a double victory from the side of the track, but I knew I had accomplished the goal for the first half of the race before dropping out.
