Historic JWOC Sprint
Yesterday saw the first official JWOC Sprint race, 5 years after the first senior race. Sweden with Mikael Kristensson and Norway with Ingunn Weltzien took the Gold medals, and Britains best results came from Scott Fraser with 12th and Tessa Hill in 48th.

sprint last control: The race proved to be very fast with winning times over a minute quicker than the predicted times for both races. The podiums had a truly international feel with 11 countries represented. The runners started in the main square on a small ramp and ran away from the arena into the town with a route choice first control around the municipal buildings, out towards the park, then the river bank.
