Op woensdag 30 april vond de jaarlijkse de Bike&Run plaats, een gezamenlijke organisatie van de KULeuven UCLouvain. Deelnemen doe je met twee, één loopt er telkens en de andere fietst. Afwisselen doe je zo vaak als je maar wil. Het ene jaar loop je van Louvain-la-Neuve naar Leuven, het jaar…

erop in de tegengestelde richting. Dit jaar lag de start in Louvain la Neuve. Het parcours was wat verlengd tot 33,25 km. Het is een heuvelig traject, soms een paar echte Parijs-Roubaix stroken (met de nodige materiaalpech voor sommige teams), soms ook stevige moddere stroken waar je al lopend sneller door geraakt dan al fietsend. Recupereren op de fiets was er dan niet bij... Twee KOLlers stonden ook aan de start. Bert Kempenaers (H21) liep samen met een ploegmaat van atletiekclub AC Lierse naar de 3e plaats in 1u55 (= ongeveer 17 km/u). Yves Briers (H21) en duatleet Joris Verreydt…
