Am Donnerstag 17. Januar 2008 traf sich der vollzählige Vorstand von thurgorienta unter Vorsitz des Präsidenten Hanspeter Schenk in Weinfelden zu seiner 1. Sitzung im Jahr 2008. konnte dabei im Detail über das Programm der beiden Tage informieren. Ebenso gab er Einblick in die verschiedenen Ressorts. Der Vorstand nahm vom planmässigen Verlauf der Vorbereitungsarbeiten Kenntnis und dankte Thomas Wägeli und dem ganzen OK für die hervorragende Arbeit im Vorfeld dieses OL-Grossanlasses.
