Napokon do?ekasmo vijesti iz Kenije. A kako je sve po?elo?Svi znamo da su kenijci vjerovatno najbolji svjetski srednje i dugopruga?i ?to mogu zahvaliti svojim prirodnim potencijalima ?to zemljopisnim ?to genetskim (ovo drugo ima veze s onim prvim). Zbog toga su se orijentacijski promotori ve? dulje vremena bavili pu?tanjem orijentacijskih korenja…

u Keniji. Ve? su 93-?e godine Norve?ani Olaf Halgesen, Terje Gudbrandsen i Arnfinn Andersen u Keniji nacrtali prvu orijentacijsku kartu naziva Signore Forest. Ostavili su i pone?to orijentacijske opreme, no to je bilo sve. Kasnije je 1996. Peo Bengston (vidi raniji ?lanak) ponovo posjetio Keniju i ti kontakti s Kenijom nastavljali se u ve?em ili manjem obliku do danas. Razvoju orijentacijskog sporta u Keniji najvi?e su se posvetili Sammy Ndegwa, John Mwangi i Noah Waititu koji su osnovali O-klub Bushtrekkers. ?ve?ani su klub dosta sponzorirali opremom preko lokalne ?vedske ?kole, a 2004. godine jedan od ?lanova je pozvan na O-ringen…
