Orienteering training with 80 controls

Today Iwith my family went to Vecāķi to do some orienteering training. I was running 18,4km course with 80 controls. I was really glad to run in this kind of terrain near Baltic sea. I was running in low speed without mistakes. My time was 1:52:12 and its about 6min/km…

speed with AVG heart rate 147. This certainly was very good training for EOC and I will do some similar orienteering training also next week. Perhaps with 100 controls. My dad was running from Vecāķi till river Gauja about 23km, mother and sister also some orienteering course. I set up together several parts of maps so its possible to see all my course in one map, but without my route choice because it was almost all the time just straight.
