As I live less than two laps around from our 300m indoor track here in Flagstaff it wasnt a big change to my daily routine to start off my indoor season by doing a 3000m race today. There was only four runners on the start line, all from NAU and…

the strategy was simple follow the rabbit Ben Ashkettle in 53 seconds per lap. I did as told to for the first 2000m and was able to finish up alone on pace in 84455. That converts to a 82396 on sea level, so not too bad for four weeks after the marathon and not a whole lot of fast running.
