This weekend I went to Åland with Lidingö. Åland is an island between Sweden and Finland, about 4 hours from Stockholm by car and boat. We went across on Friday afternoon in time for a night training, on Saturday we did a middle training and a mass start night loop…

race, and then Sunday we did a longer training (maps below). Tough terrain, pretty detailed and unforgiving - get lost and it is pretty difficult to relocate. Mostly bare open rock, with the cold, wet weather, there was a lot of ice on the ground, so it was pretty treacherous (and painful) in places. Back in the UK for Christmas now
