Congratulations to The British Trail O Team

The British Trail O Team did well in the Paralympic class of the European Trail orienteering Championships held in Maripole, Lithuania last weekend (16 - 19th June). Gittus (WRE) won the Silver Medal with Anne Braggins (WAOC) taking Bronze. On the second day, Dave missed out on the bronze medal taking 1 second longer at the time controls than the current World Champion Evaldus Butrimas of Lithuania, however his combined results gave him the Silver Medal in the two day competition, 3 points behind Marina Kochmasheva from Ykaterinburg, Russia who swept the board taking all four available Gold Medals. Dick Keighley (WIM) took 6th place. Completeing the Team achievements was 4th place in the all physical ability class for Dave Gittus. Anne Braggins
