to race without slightly injured David McNeill. As the National Championships are only 9 days later I wanted to run a good race, but still be feeling fresh a week later. The early pace felt easy even if I ran a 440 first mile in the lead pack and came through 5k at 1513. I ran the second half in 1527 with a little harder breathing than the first and finished 10th in 3040in the Mountain Region right behind teammate Jonathan Cardenas.
