Early November is probably the best time to be injured for an orienteer. Therefore I choose this period to get an injury on the front of the thigh. No joke - I made a pause of training during two weeks after last event of dead season (Sprint Belgian champs). My…

goal was also to recover - during that recovery period - from a quadriceps pain I had since early September. This pain and little injury - at that time - didn’t give me the possibilities to train as expected for the last month of 2007 season and the poor Belgian national champs (Sprint) results came probably from that. No worry for me. I still cannot run but I can do biking / cycling, swimming and strength exercises.
