Controls are now in place for Novemberâs Map of the Month, in Strathmashie. This is the western part of the wider âGorstean and Strathmashieâ area.
Controls are still available in Octoberâs area, Inshriach North, until the end of November.

on a clear day and enjoy the views which pop up between the trees, constantly changing as you go round the main hill. Itâs also incredibly peaceful, with hardly any traffic noise and no-one around even on a sunny Saturday. Iâll admit I had less than fond memories of the area, but itâs redeemed itself totally. Non-orienteers can enjoy leisurely walks beside the waterfalls and round the forest while you go off and have your fun. Thereâs good off-road parking at NN567903.
