The Lumberjacks did a successful visit to University of Montana in Missoula. We went 1-2-4-6-9 for the first five scoring runners today on a chilly golf course surrounded by mountains and thus captured the team title at the Big Sky Cross Country Championships. week’s workouts, but run a solid race, working together with my teammates Lopez Lomong, David McNeill and Jonathan Cardenas until 4k. From there on Lopez took the race and the rest of us trailed. Our team victory was secured so coach Heins told me to chill and finish easy in fourth place. I was glad with that and ready to move on towards the bigger championships that are coming up – the competition at Mountain Regional’s in two weeks will be tougher…
