a try? The course is being held at Ardkinglas, on the scenic west coast, where Ecko have a local event the next day. Grade 3 is the starting level of controller qualification. You don’t have to be a particularly good orienteer to be a controller, though you’ll need to be basically competent at the highest technical level (though not necessarily at speed!), and doing the course doesn’t commit you to any level of activity as an official.
