Looking back on this years WOC I cant help but feel a bit disappointed with myself. I ran well in the qualifier apart from one mistake at number 6 where I lost 2 mins. Despite that I qualified fairly well and was looking forward to the final. Id put a…

lot of time in in Ukrainian terrain and felt well prepared for the race. However it wasnt to be my day. I managed to run over a track on the way to one without seeing it, ending up in the wrong block of forest and losing 2 mins. Not the start I had hoped for. I made another big mistake later on losing more time and by the end I felt too tired to run hard round the last easy loop.
