legs for both women and men. The British teams have stuck with the preferred legs trusting the experience each athlete has on their chosen leg. With the womens race already underway Pippa Whitehouse led off on the 6.1km first leg, then hands over to Helen Winskill for the same length second before Helen Bridle anchors the team home with the 5.4km leg. Expected winning times are for 110 minutes and hopefully the planners will be closer to that prediction than they were in the gruelling Long Distance on the same area.
