Some breaking news in the Mens race is that 2 of the leading favourites for success today will not start. Jani Lakanen the reigning world champion unfortunately doesn't start. He has arrived in the finish arena and spoke to the Finnish media describing how he was struggling with a calf injury whilst warming up - he had been suffering with an Achilles tendon injury in the same leg.
