The Sprint Qualification took place today at the World Champs in Ukraine. All the men had storming races to finish in the top six of their qualification races, easily securing places in the final. Their performances bode well for next weeks final and show what a strong sprint team the…

GB men are. The same three men make up the GB relay team where they have high hopes for a podium finish. In the Women's event it was Pippa Whitehouse who showed the best form finishing a fantastic 4th place in her qualification race. Helen Bridle finished in a creditable 8th place displaying the same form that last year secured her a podium finish. Unfortunately debutant Helen Palmer finished in 19th place, which was not good enough to take her through to the final. The Sprint final takes place on Sunday 26th August where the top 15 from each qualification…
