The weather as as always is hot and sunny but fortunately the forest helped keep the sun off and kept the riders cool. All the women qualified (they had to complete within a time limit to achieve this) and once again it was Emily who had the fastest time, finishing…

16th in her block. In the mens team only half the riders qualified, with Andy Conn producing the fastest time, 15th in his block. Ian and Steve just scraped in to the final, whereas the others were a few places outside qualification. A special mention should go to the Irish rider, John Houlihan, who had an excellent ride finishing 8th in his block, up with the big boys!
